Your sweat is the bond which you have with yourself to follow your heart.

Your sweat is the bond which you have with yourself to follow your heart, believe in yourself and to do the work which is burning in your soul. Don’t be afraid to sweat even though no one else may understand which drives you. The work which your soul is destined to fulfil was not assigned to you loosely but rather, you were trusted to carry it out. This journey is unique to you and only YOU will understand the magnitude of the work of your soul – only when you work from the soul level.

You may wonder then, if it is your soul work, why isn’t it being done faster or without tribulations or trials?  You may wonder why you are being faced with barriers, rejections and lack of support. The answer is simple – the soul needs to grow and experience many emotions across its many lifetimes. This lifetime may not be the one where you will reap the amazing rewards you feel that you should reap.  However, if the dimension which has to be done in this lifetime, is not done, there isn’t a chance that you will ever reap what you are capable of, even though you may live through several lifetimes.

Make this lifetime count.  Don’t worry so much about the outcomes.  Engage in the present.  Make daily choices to support your soul work. Stand proud and tall today for every single bead of sweat which has come from your own inner efforts and whisper a word of gratitude to the Universe, your  Creator, your soul group which holds you in reverence and believes in you.

What is built from within, will stand the test of time.

The RIO games demonstrate such excellence, passion and commitment at various levels – of the athletes, of families, communities and countries. I admire that resilience, focus and determination of our athletes, both in winning and also not being placed at the top. There is no loser.  I have tremendous admiration for each person who took up the challenge to compete.  Every single act of commitment to our passions is a blessing to the world in one form or another.

Their performances remind me that each of them built their skills and competences over a long period of time.  We can apply the same principles in our daily lives and work at molding excellence within us so that whatever we do, whatever we say, wherever we are… we can safely say that, “This is the best version of me and my efforts in creating excellence within me.” 

What is built from within, will stand the test of time.

Mastery over our emotions and attitude towards living our dreams or reaching beyond who we are in this moment, can begin in small doses of doing more and less.
Be a little bit kinder
Listen a little bit longer
Smile a little bit more often
Dream a little bit more
Give a litte bit extra
Have a little more faith
Trust a little bit more
Speak the truth a little more
Be a little bit more committed
Try a little bit harder
Write a little bit more
Exercise a little bit more
Connect a bit more often
Hug a little big longer
Let go a little bit more
Trust your intuition a little bit more…
Drink a little bit less
Eat a little bit less
Think a little bit less
Worry a little bit less
Procrastinate a little bit less
Let go of the need to be perfect…
Often, we get disillusioned with ourselves when we don’t experience the big changes we would like to see but remember that everything which we focus on expands.  The more you practice the things which you would like to see in yourself, the greater are your chances of succeeding.
We only need to do a little bit more or less each day to engineer new and positive habits within us.

Was it worth losing $3,000.00 worth of business? An example of how bad customer service can affect your business.

This happened four years ago… and I have never been back to that restaurant. Customer service is critical to keep your business flowing.

I love good customer service. Bad customer service leaves a bad taste in my mouth. In 2012, I went to a restaurant to purchase a significant amount of food to feed a group of  people. When I returned to the office, I realize that I did not have the receipt to claim the expense so I went back to the restaurant to ask for a receipt and that is when I found myself in an unexpected drama.

The cashier who served me earlier said very harshly “You did not ask for a receipt and I can’t go back.” He moved on to…
